Srimushnam Temple History :

Bhuvaraha Swamy Temple is located in Srimushnam, near Vridhachalam which is a big town in Cuddalore District. The temple is dedicated to Lord Varaha popularly known as Bhu Varaha Swamy, and his consort Lakshmi is known as Ambujavalli Thayar. The temple is considered as the Sywayambu Kshetra (Self emanated) of Lord Vishnu.

The temple was constructed by the chola kings of the 10th century and was later renovated by the Thanjavur king Achuthappa Nayak. There is a seven-tiered rajagopuram.

Significance of Srimushnam Temple :

This very ancient temple is considered to be more than 1500 years old and highly powerful and popular temple for Vasthu, construction and house property related issues.

The Varaha /Boar Avatar of Lord.Vishnu is worshipped in this temple as Bhuvaraha Swamy is considered very powerful as the God is self-manifested . He took the form of a boar /Varaha and killed a demon King by name Hiranyaksha , to rescue mother earth who was thrown to the Nether world, by him.
Since the God had saved “ Bhooma Devi “ (Mother Earth ) , all Bhoomi related issues are believed to be resolved in this temple.

The puja will be performed on the scheduled date either in the morning or in the evening as per the head priest's sole discretion based on other festivals and programs conducted in the temple.
Puja confirmation mail will be sent on the next day of the puja date. It's an automated mail, which will be manually intervened, only when there is a change in the puja schedule.
We will arrange to perform the puja either through our representatives/agents who will visit the temple in person or through the Priest of the temple himself depending upon our earlier set arrangements
