Kollur Temple History :

Kollur Mookambika Temple is located at Kollur, Udupi District in the state of Karnataka, India. It is a Hindu temple dedicated to the mother Goddess known as Mookambika Devi. It is situated in the foothills of Kodachadri hills, on the southern bank of Souparnika River. Mookambika is often depicted with three eyes and four arms with a divine disc and conch.

It is believed that Adi Shankaracharya had a vision of Sri Mookambika Devi and installed the deity here. it finds a spot in the 108 Durga Temples

Significance of Kollur Mookambika Temple :

The temple is dedicated to Mookambika Devi, the only temple dedicated to Goddess Parvati. The Goddess Mookambika is in the form of Jyotir-Linga which combines both Shakti and Shiva.
Kollur Mookambika Temple is probably the only temple dedicated to Goddess Parvathi. She blesses the devotees from this place in the form of a Jyotir Linga, which combines both Siva and Sakthi.

The puja will be performed on the scheduled date either in the morning or in the evening as per the head priest's sole discretion based on other festivals and programs conducted in the temple.
Puja confirmation mail will be sent on the next day of the puja date. It's an automated mail, which will be manually intervened, only when there is a change in the puja schedule.
We will arrange to perform the puja either through our representatives/agents who will visit the temple in person or through the Priest of the temple himself depending upon our earlier set arrangements
