Koonancheri Sri Kailasanathar Temple History :

The temple situated in Koonancheri village which is 4 kms from Swamimalai enroute to Thiruvaikavur. The temple is said to be more than 500 -1000 years old.

Presiding Deity is Sri Kailasanathar along with his consort, the beautiful deity of Parvathi Devi called Jada Maguda Soundaryanayaki in this temple.

Significance of Sri Kailasanathar Temple :

Vibration of all tapa japa shakthi of Ashtavakra Maharishi is embedded in this temple for benefit of the entire world.
Ashtalinga worship is equivalent to having darshan of all eight lingas of Girivalam route in Thiruvannamalai.

The puja will be performed on the scheduled date either in the morning or in the evening as per the head priest's sole discretion based on other festivals and programs conducted in the temple.
Puja confirmation mail will be sent on the next day of the puja date. It's an automated mail, which will be manually intervened, only when there is a change in the puja schedule.
We will arrange to perform the puja either through our representatives/agents who will visit the temple in person or through the Priest of the temple himself depending upon our earlier set arrangements
