Since the Lord. Swaminatha Swamy is facing the North Direction, it is considered very special for giving luxuriousness and abundant wealth. Hence he is known as “ Aishwarya Murugan”.

Kumuran Kundram Temple History :

This temple was built after Chandrasekarendra Saraswathi, Maha Periyavar of Kanchi Mutt visited this place in the year 1956. On looking at the hill, he proposed that a temple be built for Murugan. The temple for Siddhi Vinayagar was built in the same year. Twenty years later, while clearing the hillside for a path, a lance, the prime weapon of Lord Muruga, was found. This inspired the devotees to speed up the work.

This temple is located in Chrompet, Chennai. The Murugan temple is atop the small Hill, Kumaran Kundram with 108 well laid steps leading to the Murugan Shrine.

At the base Lord.Viayaka , Sri Kaleeswari ,Navagrahas and Idumban shrines are housed. Lord. Sundareswarar and Goddess Meenakshi shrines are located a few steps further. Lord.Natarajar and Sarabeshwarar are also blessing the devotees along with Mahavishnu and other deities. On the hill top is Lord.Muruga, as Swaminathaswamy blesses his devotees. He is in a child form holding a staff in his hand.

  • There is a perennial theertham by name “Kumara Theertham”.
  • This is a parihara kshethram for Chevvai, Angaraha dosham
  • The sthala Vinayagar is prayed for Ketu Dosha Nvarana.

Rescheduling and Cancellation Policy

To avoid cancellation charges, please reschedule or cancel the order 72 hours before the scheduled time. For details see cancellation policy.

Cancellation Policy:
  • Your service request may be rescheduled or cancelled online through Divinvite platform (web/app)
  • The cancellation charges are mentioned hereinafter :

    • = 72 hrs -; Zero cancellation charges. 100% refund excluding convenience charges paid, if any.

    Between 72 hrs &; 48 hrs; - 25% cancellation charges &; convenience charges paid, if any.

    Between 48 hrs &; 24 hrs; - 50% cancellation charges ;&; convenience charges paid, if any.

    <=24 hrs;; - NO REFUND

  • If the order booked falls within the time frame of the above policy and cancelled afterwards by the customer, the cancellation charges will be applicable as per the above slot anyway.
  • The rescheduling ( one time) of a service is possible within the available service categories pertaining to that city; and or date; for one time only.You can change the date of the booked service prior to 72 hours and or change it from one service (booked service) to another service.
  • For rituals like Amavasya Tharpanam and all Punniyakala Tharpanams like ( Chithrai vishu, Aadi Amavasaya,Thai Amavasya,Thula vishu); NO REFUND WILL BE MADE IRRESPECTIVE OF THE TIME OF CANCELLATION).;
  • If the service professional is running late by over 60 minutes and ;the customer wants to cancel the order, then the cancellation charges will NOT be applicable
  • Due to any unforeseen circumstances or internal reasons, Divinvite reserves the right to cancel any order at any point of time and Divinvite will not be liable to anyone for the same.
  • If the visit is cancelled by the service professional or Divinvite then customer is NOT liable to pay cancellation charges.
