Thirupullani Temple History :

Thirupullani Temple, situated at a distance of 10 kms from Ramnad Town is one of the 108 Divya Desams of Vishnu Temples. The Lord Vishnu is depicted as “Jagannatha Perumal” and the Thayar is depicted as "Sri.Kalyana Valli".

King Dasarathar who was on a Pilgrimage with his wives prayed to this Lord, performed Puthrakameshti Yagna at this temple. He offered the Payasam , a sweet kheer to his wives to drink and got child boon. Lord.Rama was born after performing the rituals here. Dasartha was believed to have performed Naga Prathista as well.

When Lord.Rama came here looking to construct a bridge to go to Srilanka for rescuing his wife SIta, what he found everywhere was sea only. He was lying on a Dharba Grass bed and apparently prayed to the God of Seas meditating and requesting the Lord of Seas to show him a way to cross the sea with his army. Even today, there is a shrine of Lord.Ramar in the reclining position known as Dharbasayana Ramar. Lord.Santhana Gopala shrine can be found next to it.

Significance of Thirupullani Temple :

  • One of the very old and ancient temples and one of the 108 Divya Desams of Lord.Vishnu, dating back to Ramayana Period.
  • King Dasaratha and his Son Lord.Rama both worshipped the Lord.Aadhi Jagannathar here and granted boons. While Dasarathar got a child boon , Lord.Rama received a bow from the God which he used it in his final fight with Ravana.
  • This is a very famous “Parihara kshetra for Child Boons” .
  • Performing Santhana Gopala Homa and or Sarpa Shanthi homa ,Naga Prathista in this temple is said to give childless couples progeny.

To avoid cancellation charges, please reschedule or cancel the order 72 hours before the scheduled time. For details see cancellation policy.

Cancellation Policy:
  • Your service request may be rescheduled or cancelled online through Divinvite platform (web/app)
  • The cancellation charges are mentioned hereinafter :

    • = 72 hrs -; Zero cancellation charges. 100% refund excluding convenience charges paid, if any.

    Between 72 hrs &; 48 hrs; - 25% cancellation charges &; convenience charges paid, if any.

    Between 48 hrs &; 24 hrs; - 50% cancellation charges ;&; convenience charges paid, if any.

    <=24 hrs;; - NO REFUND

  • If the order booked falls within the time frame of the above policy and cancelled afterwards by the customer, the cancellation charges will be applicable as per the above slot anyway.
  • The rescheduling ( one time) of a service is possible within the available service categories pertaining to that city; and or date; for one time only.You can change the date of the booked service prior to 72 hours and or change it from one service (booked service) to another service.
  • For rituals like Amavasya Tharpanam and all Punniyakala Tharpanams like ( Chithrai vishu, Aadi Amavasaya,Thai Amavasya,Thula vishu); NO REFUND WILL BE MADE IRRESPECTIVE OF THE TIME OF CANCELLATION).;
  • If the service professional is running late by over 60 minutes and ;the customer wants to cancel the order, then the cancellation charges will NOT be applicable
  • Due to any unforeseen circumstances or internal reasons, Divinvite reserves the right to cancel any order at any point of time and Divinvite will not be liable to anyone for the same.
  • If the visit is cancelled by the service professional or Divinvite then customer is NOT liable to pay cancellation charges.
